Hey Diary Keepers, I know I have been gone for long and I'm sorry, also this post is long over-due (My Apologies -__-). Remember the MOONWALKER BAGS? Yh, so here's a new way of designing them or any other bag you love and want to revamp their look.
There was a time (between 2012-2013 there about) the Mickey Mouse template/t-shirt was in vogue, Though I wasn't part but I can sure remember them, I have had this template for a while now, so I thought it better to use it for my bag.
REQUIRMENT:
- Mickey Mouse Template (I got mine HERE and printed it on paper at 110%)
- The Material you want to use (could be Ankara, Danshiki, Jean.etc)
- Pair of Scissors.
- Glue (you can use fabric glue, but I used TopBond)
- And Your Bag!
NOTE: Steps 1&2 has already been done by me long time ago, and I'm sorry I have no pictures 😞
STEP 1: Download and print the template, place the template on your material (use pins to hold it firmly) then cut it carefully. (As much as I would love to have had a picture, I don't)
STEP 2: Do a Fray Check. Use a clear polish to paint around the edge of your fabric, to prevent it from fraying.
STEP 3: Place the template on your bag (where you want it placed; middle, side.etc). Make sure its placed correctly by moving back a bit.
STEP 4: Carefully place a book/grocery bag in between the bag, so as not to let the glue seep to the back.Glue the fabric to the bag section by section or start from the ears/middle and then Leave to Dry!
Viola! your bag is ready to go and looking stylish.
